1993 Toyota Land Cruiser LX PZJ77 Narrow Body

Overland in style, role-play your deepest U.N. fantasies, or just appreciate the build quality of classic Toyota in this 1993 Land Cruiser 70 series truck. This is a one owner, body on frame, leaf sprung, solid axle, manual transmission, diesel-powered absolute baddass.

White exterior paint still shines brightly even after almost 26 years. Full-size aluminum roof rack is mounted up top with an aluminum ladder mounted on the rear to round out the overland aesthetic. Included is a pintle hitch mounted directly to the frame on the back. Full length running boards are attached to both sides. 5 brand new BFGoodrich K02s are mounted on the original steel wheels, including the spare, though that is currently covered in a brand new Land Cruiser tire cover (for style++). Even includes the original center caps! There are a few cosmetic flaws (shown in pictures) including a few dents on the right side, and a couple of blemishes on the left. Under the hood you will find that the 5 cyl PZ engine has had its belts (including timing) done in November of 2018, and two brand new batteries installed in September 2019 to supply the required 24 volts for this rig’s electrical system.

As this is a J77 you are granted a ton of interior volume. 5 seat capability accessible through 4 doors, with a large cargo area in the rear that can be made even larger if you fold the rear seats up. Manual windows all the way around, with the rear glass panels able to be popped out for more air flow. Instrument cluster is clean and clear, with an oil pressure gauge and voltmeter included with the expected RPM, speedometer and odometer. Speaking of odometer, this Cruiser has gone 195,000 total kilometers, or 121,200 total miles, quite low for a diesel Toyota from 1993. The driver’s seat has a cover as the bottom right-side bolster is torn on the original seat underneath. Rest of the seats are in excellent shape. Air conditioning works gloriously as does the heat.

Land Cruisers are world-class vehicles, with the 70 series at the top. This particular rig would be at home anywhere, from bombing across dunes, camping on beaches, crawling through the woods or heck, even just going to Costco. Every Land Cruiser is special, and this one is no exception.
