1992 Suzuki Jimny Wild Wind JA11

Known as the Suzuki Samurai tin top here in North America, this is the Japanese market version of the tough little off-roader. The boxy exterior makes it look something like a compact G-Wagen with its round headlights, while giving quite a bit of room on the inside even though the truck itself is quite small.

Being that it is a kei class vehicle from Japan it is equipped with a turbocharged 3cyl engine with a top mounted intercooler, hence the functional hoodscoop. While its displacement is only 660cc, the turbo charging gives it a sharp boost of power under acceleration you wouldn't expect compared to a typical Samurai.

This Jimny is a one-owner vehicle, with a body-on-frame design with sold axles front and back, and leaf springs on all four corners. Low and high range 4x4 with the standard RWD high transfer case, and manual locking front hubs. The transmission itself is a 5 speed affair that will get you to 65 MPH without issue. Factory fog lights sit on the front bumper with an OEM aluminium luggage rack from Suzuki on the roof. Killer 'Tenacious 4x4 power...' tire cover on the spare, factory original alloy wheels finish it off. It also has power steering. Has its original alloy wheels. Color is somewhere between purple and blue.

Inside you have a stock interior in fantastic shape. Factory original Jimny MOMO steering wheel with Jimny rhino on the horn and seats that let you know this is a Wild Wind edition. Working original clock, altimeter and clinometer are mounted in the center, with an aftermarket Sony Minidisc headunit installed below. A turbo timer is installed underneath that.
